Garry Robertson DJ’s is fully licensed under the Audio Video Licensing Agency (AVLA) to provide music for your party. We are also, long standing members of the Canadian Disc Jockey Association (CDJA) a national organization representing Disc Jockeys since 1976. Liability insurance is an important part of any business and we are covered for this contingency. We'll bring a library of music, spanning a 70 year period, to your reception. Our music is totally flexible to suit the occasion and to appeal to the varied music tastes of your guests. As we update our music regularly, you can feel confident that your guests will hear all the music they enjoy, whether it’s traditional favorites, contemporary hits or anything in between. Most definitely. We do not operate on a structured format or run from limited play lists. We’ll gladly play as many special requests as possible from our licensed library. We offer you full value and maximum enjoyment by providing uninterrupted dance music for as long as you wish. We'll take a break only if you want us to. We're the first to agree that even good music can seem rather dull if presented with a lackluster, indifferent attitude. Our "DJ's" are all enthusiastic. They have the personality to "break the ice" early in the evening and the ability to keep your guests up on the dance floor. We will attend your event well groomed, dressed in a tuxedo or a suit and tie. We'll do all we can to help you enjoy your reception. All Garry Roberson DJ's are carefully screened and professionally trained. We can help organize your "First Dance", "Bride and Father dance", “Bouquet and Garter", and "Farewell" ceremonies and we'll gladly lend a hand with any other formalities which you may acquire assistance or advice. Some examples include, announcing guests, anniversaries, birthdays or engagements. We only use quality professional sound equipment, with systems capable of handling gathering of 50 to 2,000 people. Rest assured that we will provide the proper sound system to provide clear, undistorted music to suit the size of hall and the number of guests attending. We are very aware that your reception is a time for visiting as well as dancing. We constantly monitor our volume to provide a festive atmosphere for both listeners and dancers. In addition to our complete range of dance music, we can also offer background music and microphone usage during the reception, with prior arrangements. Other add-ons include lighting packages and speaker systems to enhance the bass sound. You'll be pleasantly surprised at our reasonable rates. It is not possible to indicate what your total cost will be as we do not "prepackage" our services into a program that you are forced to follow. As all events are different in one way or another, our services are totally flexible and our prices fit into our budget. School dances and teen parties need extreme sound, lighting, and great interactive DJs - and we deliver! Our packages will give you the right place to start, and may all be customized to your party.
